Bible

The New King James Version (NKJV) Bible is an update of the King James Version and uses the same Greek New Testament text.

Study Bible

The King James Study Bible (King James Version, KJV) by Thomas Nelson Publishers is one of the best study Bibles produced that provides commentary, doctrinal (teaching) footnotes, personality profiles and information on Biblical archeological sites.

Bible Websites

BibleGateway.com is a helpful tool for looking up key words and passages in multiple translations of the Bible.

Blue Letter Bible provides a useful translation and dictionary of Hebrew and Aramaic (Old Testament) and Greek (New Testament) words for every verse found in the Bible when you click on the "C" button (representing their Concordance and Lexicon) next to each researched verse.

Single Volume Bible Commentaries

The Believer’s Bible Commentary by William MacDonald provides a good interpretation of New Testament verses and limited commentary on Old Testament verses except in the books of Psalms, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes.

The King James Version Bible Commentary by Ed Hindson and Woodrow Kroll (General Editors) supplies some good commentary depending upon the commentator of a book of the Bible.

Christian Doctrine (Teaching)

Basic Theology: A Popular Systematic Guide to Understanding Biblical Truth by Charles C. Ryrie is a good general systematic theology. His writing aims to teach theology so that any person can understand it.

The Middletown Bible Church website provides sound articles on a number of theological topics.

The Detroit Baptist Seminary Journal (DBS Journal) is a journal that produces scholarly articles from a Christian fundamentalist perspective. Back issues are available online.

Creation Ministry Website

The Institute for Creation Research (ICR) supplies valuable scientific and theological insight from a young earth perspective. They produce books and articles that properly take Genesis chapters 1 - 11 as historical narrative. Acts and Facts is their free monthly magazine with back issues available online.

Creation Book

The NEW Answers Book 1 by Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis (General Editor) biblically answers over 25 of the most important questions on Creation versus evolution and the Bible.

Creation Magazine

Creation Magazine is a family-friendly magazine by Creation Ministries International that covers “nature, history, science, the Bible and related subjects.” Back issues are available online.

Refuting The Da Vinci Code
